This was a typical back garden mainly laid to lawn with boarders to the side.

The customer needed something more manageable and didn’t want it to look like a carpark.

First a wall was built down both sides of the garden.

The design was done to break up the square appearance of the garden and radiuses are used in the paving.

There is a mix of clay pavers and buff coloured paving slabs.

Steps had to be built and these are done in radiuses.

A small pond was put in and a pergola.

Customer needed an opening in the back of the garage to be able to get a car through.

The brickwork had to match the existing brickwork.

The back wall was supported to allow a steel to be put in to support the gable end.

When the opening was completed a electric roller door was fitted.

A concrete ramp was laid to allow a car to be driven through.

All work was carried out in accordance with building regulations.

This is what can become of a unused small area of a garden.

A brick/block extension on the side of the house to create a larger lounge and a dinning area.

both areas were knocked though to the existing rooms once the chimney was removed.

The roof was pitched with a matching tile to the existing building.

When the shell of the extension was built steel beams were put in to enable the walls to be removed to create a larger living space.

All electrics and plumbing were part of the build and put in to the price of the job.

When the job was completed all that was required was decorating which the customer wanted to do there selves.

Kitchen extension

New Kitchen extension

New side extension was built.  External wall was knocked down between extension and existing house.  A steel beam was used to support low bearing wall. Old kitchen was removed and new kitchen was installed in the extension area. For this job I  laid the laminate flooring and tiled areas of the wall.
